Vertical Buildings Construction Permitted in Lahore

Lahore: According to the news resources, the Punjab government has allowed the construction of vertical buildings in Lahore. LDA has permitted 121 vertical buildings construction in Lahore amid decision.

The decisions to permit the construction of vertical residential and commercial buildings were taken amid the promotion of vertical housing and discouraged the properties’ massive horizontal growth. The decision was also taken to meet the industrial and residential needs of Lahore.

According to the news resources, the construction design and plans have been approved by the town planning wing of LDA – Lahore Development Authority. The official talking to the media resources on Monday 17 January 2022, said,

"The building plans of 121 apartment buildings were approved during a period of nine months - from March to December 31, last year. Dozens of more such plans are currently under consideration these days."
